We collect business contact details and website usage data to run our agency and to tell businesses about services that may help them. We don't sell personal information for money. You can opt out of our emails at any time, and you can ask us what we hold about you or ask us to delete it.

- Business contacts we reach out to, including people at companies we think may benefit from our services.
- Clients and prospective clients, and the people who work for them.
- Suppliers, partners and people we meet at events or through referrals.
Our services are offered to businesses. This website and our outreach are not directed at consumers acting in a personal capacity or at children.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
Your name, job title, company, business email address, phone number and any other details you share when you contact us, book a call, reply to an email, fill in a form, sign a contract or work with us. This includes the content of your messages and any files you send.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our website we and our providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location and the time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this (see section 14). Our website visitor tools may use your IP address to identify the company you are browsing from.
Information from other sources
To find businesses that may benefit from our services, we collect business information from:
- company websites and publicly available business directories and registers (for example Companies House in the UK and professional regulators' public registers);
- professional networking sites and public social media profiles used in a business capacity;
- business data and lead-generation providers;
- events, trade shows and business cards exchanged with us;
- referrals and introductions from people who know you.
This is typically your name, job title, employer, business email address, business phone number, professional profile URL and the city or region you work in. We also review publicly available information about your company's website and online presence, such as page speed, search visibility and the marketing technology it uses, so that our outreach is relevant.
Information we do not seek
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, biometric data or financial account details) through our outreach. Please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for.
4. How we use information and our legal bases
| What we do | Legal basis (UK/EU) |
|---|---|
| Identify businesses that may benefit from our services, research them and contact relevant people about our services by email, LinkedIn or phone | Our legitimate interests in promoting our business to other businesses. Where the law requires consent (for example, emailing UK sole traders or partnerships), we only contact you with consent. |
| Respond to enquiries, book and hold meetings, prepare proposals | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interests |
| Deliver services, manage client accounts, invoice and collect payment | Performance of a contract; our legitimate interests |
| Run, secure and improve our website and measure our marketing | Our legitimate interests; your consent for non-essential cookies where required |
| Keep a record of people who have opted out so we never contact them again | Legal obligation; our legitimate interests |
| Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims | Legal obligation; our legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against your rights and expectations. You can ask us for details of this assessment, and you can object at any time (see section 11).
5. If you received an email or message from us
We contact people at businesses where we believe our services are relevant to their role, based on business information we have collected as described in section 3. Every marketing email we send identifies us, includes our postal address and gives you a simple way to opt out.
To stop hearing from us, use the unsubscribe link in any email or reply "stop". We act on opt-outs promptly and add your email address to a suppression list so we do not contact you again. You can also ask us where we obtained your details.
6. Automated tools and artificial intelligence
We use software tools, including artificial intelligence services, to help us research businesses, review public website data, organise our records and draft communications. People at Hello Bleu oversee these tools and remain responsible for our outreach. We do not make decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
7. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed with:
- Service providers who process information for us under contract, such as website and email hosting (including Hostinger), Google Workspace, analytics and website visitor tools, scheduling, data enrichment, customer relationship and artificial intelligence providers.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers.
- Authorities and other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Hello Bleu, our clients, our team or others, including to prevent fraud and to enforce our agreements.
- A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation or sale of all or part of our business, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some website cookies may be used by our providers for analytics and advertising measurement, which certain US state laws may treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". See section 12 for how to opt out.
8. International transfers
We operate from the United States and Pakistan and our providers may process information in other countries. Where UK or EU law requires it, we put appropriate safeguards in place for transfers outside the UK or European Economic Area, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can contact us for more information.
9. Information we process for clients
When we deliver services to a client (for example managing their advertising, analytics, website or email marketing), we may process personal information about the client's customers or website visitors on the client's behalf. In that case the client is the controller, its privacy policy governs that information, and we act only on its documented instructions under our agreement with it. Please direct requests about that information to the relevant client.
10. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Our standard periods are:
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Business contacts researched but never contacted | Up to 90 days |
| Business contacts we emailed who did not respond | Up to 12 months from first contact |
| Contacts who told us they are not interested | Up to 6 months, then deleted except for our suppression record |
| Prospective clients we met who did not proceed | Up to 24 months |
| Clients and contract records | For the relationship and up to 7 years afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes |
| Opt-out and suppression records | Kept indefinitely, in a minimal form, so we can honour your request not to be contacted |
| Files people send us containing contact lists | Up to 30 days after we have processed them |
| Website analytics | In line with our providers' retention settings, typically up to 14 months |
We may keep information for longer where we are required to by law, or where it is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
11. Your rights (UK and EU)
If UK or EU data protection law applies to you, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing, including an absolute right to object to direct marketing;
- receive your information in a portable format in certain circumstances;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent;
- complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
12. Your rights (United States)
Depending on the US state where you live, and if that state's privacy law applies to us, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access, correct or delete it, to obtain a copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, "sales" or "sharing" of personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To opt out of analytics and advertising cookies, you can use your browser's settings or a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour where the law requires, or contact us.
13. How to exercise your rights
Email connect@hellobleu.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may ask an authorised agent for proof of their authority. We respond within the time required by law (one month under UK and EU law, and generally 45 days under US state laws, which may be extended where permitted).
Some rights are subject to exceptions. For example, we will keep a minimal suppression record after deleting your information so that we do not contact you again, and we may keep information needed to comply with law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where the law allows, we may refuse or charge a reasonable fee for requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive.
14. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for our website to work. With your permission, we also use:
- Analytics: Google Analytics, to understand which pages are visited and how people find our website.
- Company identification: Apollo.io's website tracker, which uses your IP address to identify the company a visit comes from.
These optional tools do not load unless you choose Accept all in our cookie pop-up. Essential only keeps them switched off and remembers your choice for 12 months. None keeps them switched off and stores nothing after you close the browser tab, so we will ask again on your next visit. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may not work as intended.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections and restricting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.
16. Information about other people
If you give us personal information about someone else, such as a colleague or a referral, you confirm that you are entitled to do so and that they have been made aware of how we will use it, where the law requires.
17. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
18. Other websites and services
Our website and communications may link to websites and services operated by others, including booking and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and their own privacy policies apply.
19. Aggregated and de-identified information
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and use it for any lawful business purpose, such as measuring the performance of our marketing. Where the law requires, we will maintain and use such information only in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it.
20. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when we publish it on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know where the law requires.
21. General
This policy explains how we handle personal information. It does not create a contract or give rights to any third party. It is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the data protection laws of the country or state where you live. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable law.
